INGREDIENTS
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. lean round steak, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 2 c. sliced onion
- 1/2 minced clove of garlic
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- 1 cube beef bouillon
- 1 c. boiling water
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine flour, salt, and pepper; roll meat in mixture. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in heavy skillet; brown meat well. Add remainder of oil, onions, and garlic; cook until onions are light brown. Add
curry powder and water in which bouillon cube has been dissolved.
Simmer, adding water as necessary, for about 1 hour. Yields 4 servings.
Serve on hot fluffy rice. Small dishes of salted peanuts, raisins, chutney, and shredded coconut may be passed as accompaniments. The Pakistani food recipe is ready to serve,....enjoy it !
